ยาปฏิชีวนะ ไม่ใช่ยาแก้อักเสบ


โดยสรุปคือ ยาปฏิชีวนะเป็นยาอันตราย ต้องปรึกษาแพทย์หรือเภสัชกรทุกครั้งก่อนใช้ยาปฏิชีวนะเป็นยาฆ่าเชื้อแบคทีเรียเท่านั้น ไม่มีฤทธิ์ฆ่าไวรัส ไม่มีฤทธิ์ลดไข้ และไม่มีฤทธิ์ลดอาการอักเสบทั่วไป ซึ่งการใช้ยาปฏิชีวนะไม่ถูกต้องเป็นสาเหตุหนึ่งที่ทำให้เกิดการดื้อยา จึงไม่ควรใช้ยาปฏิชีวนะพร่ำเพรื่อ รวมทั้งไม่เชื่อตามคำบอกของคนรอบข้าง ไม่แบ่งยา หรือรับยาของผู้อื่นมากิน
